Packers have agreed to trade Aaron Rodgers if he still wants out after 2021 season – Packers Wire

The Green Bay Packers don’t have long until another crossroads with Aaron Rodgers arrives.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the Packers have agreed to trade Rodgers after the 2021 season if the NFL’s MVP still wants out of Green Bay.

If the Packers truly want to keep Rodgers for 2021 and beyond, a lot of relationship-repairing must be accomplished over the next six months.

It has been widely reported that the Packers have agreed to review Rodgers’ situation following this season. Glazer’s report confirms the idea that Rodgers can exit via trade if he’s still unhappy with the organization, giving him some power of his immediate future.

The same two options still exist for after 2021: Either Rodgers and the Packers repair the relationship and work out a new deal, or the two sides part ways with a trade and the Packers begin the Jordan Love era. No other realistic option looks possible at this time.

So begins a stressful season in Titletown. It’s Super Bowl or bust for a talented football team with all the championship pieces, all while the organization tries to win over a future Hall of Fame quarterback with internal improvements in the background of it all. The pressure is high for everyone at 1265 Lombardi.
