News and notes from the Seahawks’ Friday press conference – Field Gulls

As the Seattle Seahawks prepare for their second-straight AFC South opponent this weekend, Pete Carroll spoke to members of the media about roster updates as well as the upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans.

Two starters for Seattle made it back to the practice field today, according to Carroll…

…But it turns out it was just Reed who practiced.

Based on exactly what Carroll had to say, it seems like things are looking good for both Lewis and Reed to play this weekend against the Titans.

In other news from the injury report, two Seahawks are listed as doubtful, with Bryan Mone joining Lewis and Reed in the questionable category. Penny Hart has cleared concussion protocol and was not on the report.

Carroll also spoke about the tragic passing of Russell Wilson’s coach and friend Trevor Moawad.

Ending the article on a more positive note, Darrell Taylor got a chance to share his excitement to play his first game at Lumen Field, with or without fans. Hopefully he can add to the one sack he picked up last week against the Colts. Based on the performance of the Titans’ line last week, he should have a good shot to do so.
