Did Justin Fields have a great day? No, but he saw his first signficant action of his NFL career, and the stage never looked too big for him. He made some expected rookie mistakes, which included offensive line miscommunication, timing issues with receivers and a costly interception that made the game closer than it should’ve been. But his receivers didn’t help him, as there were some drops, including Robinson’s dropped touchdown. With Andy Dalton likely sidelined for a few weeks, this looks to be Fields’ team moving forward.
