Conor McGregor joined the short list of all-time worst ceremonial first pitches in history on Tuesday night.
The former two-division UFC champion took the mound at historic Wrigley Field in Chicago prior to the Cubs’ 9-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins. “The Notorious,” dressed to the nines, loosened up a bit before heaving his pitch to the third base side, nearly drilling a fan sitting in the front row.
Any time fighters get the opportunity to take a shot at the biggest star in the history of mixed martial arts, they do so. This was no exception as some of McGregor’s colleagues, rivals, and past opponents took their shots.

I cannot stop laughing at this. Every MMA fighter that has represented us doing this has looked terrible but this takes the cake. https://t.co/n6Ck9AQ7wG

If you thought Conor McGregor was bad at throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley earlier well here’s his rendition of Take Me Out To The Ballgame and it’s slightly better pic.twitter.com/WDKWlMJMO3
