Seahawks-Vikings injury report: Brandon Shell out, Bryan Mone will play on Sunday – Field Gulls

The Seattle Seahawks have released their Friday injury report for this weekend’s road trip to Minnesota to play the Vikings. The injury report includes practice participation from Friday.

Some notables from the report are that rookie wideout Dee Eskridge, running back Rashaad Penny, and tackle Brandon Shell will all miss the game on Sunday. Eskridge will miss the game with the concussion that he suffered in the opening game against the Indianapolis Colts, while Penny and Shell are both still dealing with leg injuries (calf and ankle respectively).

Benson Mayowa is listed as questionable after starting the week as a full participant in practice but was downgraded to a limited participant. Second-year wide receiver Freddie Swain, who did not participate in practice on Monday, has made a full recovery and was not listed on the Friday report. Defensive tackle Bryan Mone was in a similar situation with Swain, as he spent most of this week as a limited participant in practice but is a full go for Sunday. Mone missed last week’s loss to the Tennessee Titans.

On the Vikings side, linebacker Anthony Barr is still out with injury while Dalvin Cook is listed as questionable with his ankle sprain. Everson Griffen is no longer on the injury report and is cleared to play this weekend.
