This is becoming a bit of a routine now, isn’t it? The weekend before Sony plans to reveal next month’s PS Plus titles, French website Dealabs claims to have the scoop. After the site correctly leaked a number of PS Plus line-ups from months past, we think you can put quite a bit of trust in this new prediction. Dealabs says the free October 2021 PS5, PS4 games are:
If you don’t know what Hell Let Loose is, here’s a description: “A hardcore World War Two first person shooter with epic battles of 100 players with infantry, tanks, artillery, a dynamically shifting front line and a unique resource based RTS-inspired meta-game.”
In our Mortal Kombat X PS4 review, we wholeheartedly praised the fighting game, concluding: “The story’s stupid and poorly written, but it’s all of the options outside of the campaign that will keep you engaged – whether you’re playing with others or alone. With hundreds of modifiers, the ever-rotating Living Towers, and some truly exceptional online additions, this game really goes above and beyond. However, it doesn’t ignore what’s important either, employing the new variants system to keep the fighting fresh – even if you only play as one character. Misplaced microtransactions sully the experience slightly – but this is still only a few scratches short of a flawless victory.”
The same goes for PGA Tour 2K21, which got a 7/10 rating in the Push Square review: “PGA Tour 2K21 is the best simulation golf game on the PS4, and it represents a real evolution for The Golf Club franchise as a whole. While it retains many of the features from previous instalments, it’s much better presented than ever before, and it finally includes a career mode that’s worth your time and attention. There are still improvements to be made here – the licensed courses lack character and the visuals are static – but if this were a long par five tee shot it’d comfortably find the fairway.”
Sony will officially confirm the free October 2021 PS5, PS4 games on Wednesday, 29th September 2021. Would you be happy with this PS Plus lineup? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
