Florida State commitments Omar Graham Jr. and Trevion Williams have both recently received scholarship offers from the LSU Tigers.
Graham, a three-star linebacker, first committed to FSU back in the month of June following a successful official visit to Tallahassee. He picked the Seminoles over Miami, Penn State and Michigan and over 40 other offers.
In an interview with 247Sports Southeast Recruiting Analyst Andrew Ivins, Graham claims he’s still solid with the ‘Noles despite the recent offer as well as a pickup in communication from other schools.
“I just trust Coach [Mike] Norvell and his staff,” Graham told 247Sports on Monday. “I really like the staff. I love the staff. Really, with how things are going they are just saying that they got to get me up there because I will make an impact there early.”
Williams’ situation could be a little more worrisome for FSU fans as he was in attendance at Mississippi State’s game against LSU this past weekend where the Tigers came out on top in a close matchup.
He originally chose the Seminoles over Miss. State, Auburn, Ole Miss and others during the summer months. The 6-foot-4.5, 254-pounder has three official visits remaining as he used up two in June with both Auburn and FSU.
The Mississippi native doesn’t talk much to media but it’s clear he’s not completely locked in with Florida State at this juncture. It’ll be interesting to see if the four-star prospect makes any other visits in the coming weeks.
According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Graham checks in as the No. 569 prospect and No. 57 linebacker in the country while Williams slots as the No. 259 overall player and No. 34 defensive lineman.
