The Cincinnati Bengals have made the following roster moves ahead of their Week 4 clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars:
- Elevated safety Trayvon Henderson from the practice squad to the active roster for tonight’s game against the Jacksonville (standard elevation). The team’s active roster now stands at 54 players. As a practice squad player being elevated to the active roster for the game, Henderson will revert to the practice squad on Friday.
- Placed tight end Thaddeus Moss on the Practice Squad/Injured list with a head/neck injury. A second-year player by way of the LSU Tigers, Moss will be eligible to return to practice after three games.
This is a great opportunity for Henderson to log significant playing time as fellow safety Jessie Bates is sidelined with a neck injury. He has been with the Bengals since the 2018 season after going undrafted out of Hawaii, but he’s played in just eight career games and made one tackle.
As for Moss, this is an unfortunate setback after he missed all of his rookie season last year with a foot injury. Hopefully, he’s able to return in three weeks and continue his development as he fights for a spot on the active roster.
