Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury made official; Paul thanks Dana White for ‘promoting’ his fight for free – Bloody Elbow

After very public negotiations and posturing about their purses and even a name-change bet, Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury has been made official. As the YouTuber and undefeated boxer announced, the fight will take place on December 18.

The fight will happen in Tampa, Florida and will be eight rounds, contested at 192 lbs. Dominant champ Amanda Serrano is again also going to compete on the undercard as the co-main event.

They dubbed this event as “One will fall” as both boxers are currently undefeated with Paul at 4-0, and Fury at 7-0.

Fury, 22, is a former reality TV show star and brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury. He fought on the Woodley vs Paul undercard, beating an undersized MMA fighter, who was also Paul’s sparring partner.

Paul, 24, is 4-0 and has wins over two MMA fighters in Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul.

Paul also thanked Dana White for “promoting” his fight for free, trolling him once more after the UFC President talked smack about him again recently. He also used it as a chance to respond to White — and many others’ — criticism about him only fighting old non-boxers:

“We’re basically the same age, the same height, same reach, and the same weight!” Paul said in response to White. “He’s 7-0, undefeated. I’m 4-0, undefeated. And his brother is the heavyweight champion of the world! If that’s not a real boxer, I don’t know what is!”
