CLEVELAND, Ohio — The city of Cleveland fell in love with Odell Beckham Jr., and stole a piece of his heart, even though he resisted coming here at first.
It didn’t work out the way anyone hoped, but fans embraced Beckham the same way they do all of their stars, and he expressed his appreciation Saturday night in a Twitter note entitled “Believeland.”
Beckham signed one-year deal with the L.A. Rams on Friday, and is back under the bright lights of big city — exactly what he was made for.
Even though his time in Cleveland was star-crossed and injury-marred, he expressed the connection that happens between players here and the fans. It’s not New York, and it’s not L.A., but Believeland has a magic of its own, and Beckham experienced it firsthand.
If the story has a fairytale ending, the Browns will meet up again with Beckham in the postseason, and OBJ and Jarvis Landry will finally be in the Super Bowl together, the way they always envisioned.
Okay, so maybe not exactly the way they spoke it into existence, but in Believeland, anything can happen.

I want to thank the city of Cleveland for welcoming me with open arms. My goal was always to help bring a championship to the city of Cleveland from the first day I became a member of the Cleveland Browns.
Through all the ups and downs, injuries and rehab, I am forever grateful to have played in front of some of the Greatest Fans Ever. DAWG Pound I thank you for embracing me and showing me so much LOVE!
