Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James got two Indiana Pacers fans ejected from their courtside seats during a recent game because of some inappropriate comments. The NBA has now weighed in on the matter, with spokesman Mike Bass noting that “the fans were ejected for violating the NBA Fan Code of Conduct,” per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Shams notes that “no lifetime ban or further consequence is expected” for the two Pacers fans.

There’s quite a bit of drama surrounding LeBron and the Lakers these days. Before that Pacers game, James was suspended for elbowing Detroit Pistons youngster Isaiah Stewart. The King missed a game against the New York Knicks before returning against Indiana.
In addition to getting these unruly fans kicked out, LeBron ripped the Pacers’ heart out in a 124-116 overtime victory. James scored 39 points and hit a number of big shots. He even got fined for one of his celebrations in the game.
There hasn’t been too much celebrating going on around the Lakers, though. Los Angeles is just 10-11 on the season after a brutal loss to the Sacramento Kings in triple overtime. The Lakers need to get their act together soon, or head coach Frank Vogel could be in trouble.
Meanwhile, the Pacers are trying to get back on track after a tough start to the season. Indiana is 9-12 but has won three of four games after a recent three-game losing streak.
