The Iron Bowl delivered another instant class in Jordan-Hare Stadium, though this time it wasn’t Auburn that came out on top in a thrilling matchup on the Plains.

The Tigers lost to the third-ranked Tide, 24-22, in quadruple-overtime after holding a 10-0 lead into the fourth quarter. It was the first overtime game in the rivalry’s 86 meetings, and it certainly delivered from a dramatics standpoint.

For Auburn, it was another heartbreaking loss and the third straight in which Bryan Harsin’s team let a double-digit lead slip away. The Tigers finish their regular season at 6-6 after going winless in November. It’s the first time the program has failed to win a game in November since 1992 (0-2 that year, with losses to Georgia and Alabama).
