Chiefs at Chargers score: Live updates, game stats, highlights, TV, streaming for Thursday Night Football – CBSSports.com

The Los Angeles Chargers rebounded from a disaster of a start, and they lead the division rival Kansas City Chiefs 14-10 at halftime of “Thursday Night Football.”

Los Angeles’ first possession of the game ended with three consecutive drops in the end zone, as the Chargers wasted a 75-yard return of the opening kickoff and came away scoreless. After the Chiefs drove for a touchdown on their opening possession, Justin Herbert had a pass tipped and picked on L.A.’s second drive of the night. Kansas City tacked on a field goal to take a 10-point lead, but then the Chargers got themselves back into it with a 10-play, 75-yard touchdown drive.

After a three-and-out by K.C. set the Chargers up with excellent field position, they again marched right down the field, and Herbert found Jalen Guyton from 4 yards out to give his team the lead. The Chiefs had a chance to get some points with a two-minute drill, but Joey Bosa came screaming around the edge for a strip-sack on Mahomes. L.A. had a chance to extend its lead, but elected to go for it on fourth-and-goal on the final play of the half and got stopped.

Will the Chiefs stage a second-half comeback and solidify their hold on the division, or will the Chargers make things much more interesting down the stretch of the regular season? Keep it locked to our live blog throughout the rest of the evening as we update you with stats, scores, and highlights.
