The New Jersey home of 76ers standout Tyrese Maxey caught fire on Christmas Eve.
Video from 6ABC in Philadelphia shows firefighters, with ladders leading up to various windows of the house, battling the smoke and blaze in Camden County’s Voorhees.
The team confirmed the home was Maxey’s and said there are no injuries resulting from the fire. According to the Philly Voice, Maxey’s family is in town but are OK.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Maxey, a guard and Texas native, is in his second year out of Kentucky and has emerged as a significant piece for the 76ers, averaging 17 points and 4.6 assists per game while helping to fill the void that Ben Simmons has left.
