Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry (quad), Draymond Green (hip) out against Pelicans – ESPN India

The Golden State Warriors did not have Stephen Curry and Draymond Green on Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans because of injury.

Curry bruised his left quad while driving and colliding with Dallas’ Dorian Finney-Smith’s knee in the third quarter Wednesday night. Curry said after the Warriors lost to the Dallas Mavericks that he wasn’t optimistic that he would be able to play in the second of a back-to-back in New Orleans.

Green, who has a sore left hip, has played in two games since being cleared from health and safety protocols on Sunday. Green dealt with a tight right hip last month. Juan Toscano-Anderson (ankle) is also out against the Pelicans.

Curry said he was hopeful that the quad injury will not linger and keep him out of multiple games.

“The body feeds off the mind,” Curry said. “So I hope not.”
