Bengals coach Zac Taylor gives update on injuries heading into second round of NFL playoffs – WLWT Cincinnati

All eyes are on the Cincinnati Bengals as they gear up to face off against the Tennessee Titans Saturday in the AFC divisional round.They have broken the 31-year curse over the weekend, winning their first playoff game against the Las Vegas Raiders.As the clock ticked down and an interception by linebacker Germaine Pratt put the nail in the coffin, fans went wild. Now the Bengals head down south to face the Tennessee Titans, the No. 1 seed in the AFC, ending the season 12-5.Taylor and the team had to wait around all day watching football to find out who and where they’d be playing — just like the rest of us.But regardless — the team says they’re ready to go.”This team is real quick to move on to the next game and that’s critical at this point in the year, you know, it’s– we’re only playing great teams from here on out and, and if you don’t spend every waking minute of your week focusing on your next opponent, that’s gonna bite you. Also on Monday, G Xavier Su’a-Filo was returned to the active roster from the reserve/injured list. He had been on the list with a knee injury since Oct. 9.Defensive Tackle Mike Daniels injured his groin in the first quarter and did not return. Taylor said it’s not looking like he will be back. Defensive end Trey Hendrickson is on concussion protocol after suffering a concussion in the third quarter Saturday. Taylor said the process will start on Tuesday with him getting cleared before doing physical activities and then getting back to contact practice. Taylor said there’s certainly enough time in the week to get that done if he is feeling up to it and can clear day-to-day. As far as adding a defensive tackle this week, Taylor said it’s a possibility and he’s keeping all options on the table
