Getting tickets to the Super Bowl is not easy — or cheap — but Cincinnati Bengals defensive back Eli Apple wants to help two people get into the big game for the sake of trolling them. Apple talked smack to Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman, both Chiefs players, by offering them Super Bowl tickets Sunday night on Twitter.

The trolling came after the Bengals defeated the Chiefs, 27-24, in overtime at Arrowhead Stadium to advance to the Super Bowl. Apple tweeted, “Aye @MecoleHardman4 @cheetah dm me yall number and I’ll hook yall up wit them super bowl tickets on me.”

This all started when a Twitter user tweeted a video of Apple tackling Hill short of the goal line as time expired in the first half. That specific stop by Apple turned out to be a huge play in Cincinnati’s win.

Apple responded to the video by writing, “he’s a baby,” and tagged Hill in the tweet. Hill reacted writing, “No Twitter beef big dog just hit my line.”

Hill’s teammate Hardman also responded, tweeting, “Yeah Hit my line too…”

Apple then rubbed the Bengals victory in both of their faces by offering them tickets to the big game.

The Chiefs were favorites in the matchup, but it was a tale of two halves. Kansas City dominated the first half, but failed to come up big in the second. Apple’s tackle of Hill to end the first half prevented the Chiefs from putting more points on the board and was the beginning of Cincy’s comeback.

The Bengals will face the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI at SoFi Stadium.
