@WizzNL god I hope that 4 is wrong. I’ve been really excited by Kena since we first saw it, but always with the concern that this is their first game and gameplay is most important. (I can’t see reddit on my phone to see details)
Ember Lab were/are Animators by trade so understandably the trailers always look amazing. But the game, and more worryingly Sony, have gone very quiet on it… almost as though they don’t expect it to be great. And there are no reviews this close to launch which doesn’t always show good faith.
Still Hopefully that is all conjecture and that 4 is wrong. (It’s reddit so it’s likely fake right?)
EDIT: This sounds very doom and gloom, but i’m actually still hopeful, but the lack of hype and marketing from Sony is a concern.
ALWAYS wait for reviews, especially for a new studio.
EDIT 2: Just remembering the first hour previews of Kena from Gamespot, PC mag etc. were all positive.
