Many fighting game fans were immediately suspicious when Capcom launched their mystery countdown this week, and it appears the pile of evidence that the timer will reveal Street Fighter 6 is getting bigger.
Now, one journalist is claiming he’s heard from multiple sources that reportedly confirm we will be seeing the next Street Fighter tomorrow night.
On this week’s episode of GrubbSnax on Giant Bomb, GamesBeat’s Jeff Grubb reports he’s reached out to multiple people regarding Capcom’s countdown.
“Everybody should expect Street Fighter 6 because that’s what I have heard,” said Grubb via VGC.

This comes after our previous potential clue where Cap-Jams also made sure to point fans towards the website.
Although they didn’t say anything specific to give it away, Capcom’s internal band has almost exclusively worked on Street Fighter music thus far, which provides another connection to the flagship fighting game series.
The biggest piece of evidence supporting SF6 still comes from the countdown itself, however, which is scheduled to expire right around the time that the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final is set to conclude.
The clock is scheduled to hit zero around 10 p.m. PST tomorrow, February 19.
We’re now less than 30 hours away from what everyone is hoping and expecting to be our first look at the next generation of Street Fighter.
