Update: The rumoured demo for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is real, and it’s available to download right now from the PlayStation Store. What’s more, any progress that you make in the demo can be carried over to the main game when it releases in a couple of weeks — but only on the same platform (PS5 or PS4).
It’s also worth noting that this demo will be removed from the PlayStation Store on the 19th April, 2022, so you’ve got about five weeks or so to give it a shot.
Original Story: The 18th March release date for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is fast approaching. But if you’re still not quite sold on this weird action RPG spinoff, then you might be in luck: it seems as though a playable demo is coming soon.
As spotted by PlayStation Game Size, a ‘Demo Version’ for Stranger of Paradise has been found on Sony’s servers, although it hasn’t been officially announced yet. We would assume that it’ll launch before the full game later this month, or at least, it’ll drop at the same time.
It also sounds like this supposed demo could be surprisingly robust, weighing in at a rather large 36GB or so.
