The first round of the NFL draft has already been drastically reshaped by a rash of trades, but more deals could be ahead in the coming weeks.
As the NFL moves into the latter stages of its 2022 free agency period, which has largely been defined by March’s mega trades, focus now shifts squarely onto the upcoming draft – and, inevitably, more deals are forthcoming.
Another one dropped Monday, when the Eagles and Saints bartered eight picks, New Orleans picking up an extra first-rounder this year while Philadelphia added one for the 2023 draft.
