It’s a huge evening for Antonio Conte’s Spurs team in the top-four race with the season nearing its conclusion.
Getting back to winning ways last Sunday with a crucial 3-1 win over Leicester City, Spurs remain two points behind Arsenal in fourth with four games of the campaign remaining.
Tottenham really need to leave Merseyside with points in the bag if they are to secure a top-four finish come the final day, especially with Arsenal having Leeds United to come at the Emirates on Sunday in a game which could potentially see them extend their lead.
Liverpool, on the other hand, also need maximum points as they try to overhaul Manchester City at the top of the Premier League with only a point separating them at present.
